We thought you might like a bit more information about us:-

We are a husband-and-wife team, who are both teachers. Our strengths and enthusiasms are in the curricular areas of English and History - both areas are firmly rooted in the pleasure of reading. During our careers we have taught in girls' schools, boys' schools and mixed schools; also in middle schools and high schools. We have much experience of encouraging pupils from Year 5 upwards to read. Out of this interest we acquired a 'classroom shelf' of books to interest pupils mainly in the Key Stage 3 range. This 'shelf' has gradually grown to reach the proportions of a collection of over 3,000 books, which, we felt, was perhaps too many to keep! Therefore we came to the conclusion that selling some of them would be a good option!
